The inception of “The Therapy Gym, inc came from the collaboration of Michelle and Beverly’s desire to have a place, a clinic, a
gym, where they could offer and provide quality care, in a personalized environment, with programs targeting specific client needs
as well as an environment for dedicated therapist to practice and grow their specific passions.

Owner – Physical Therapist
Michelle is a licensed Physical Therapist and Co-owner of The Therapy Gym, Inc. She earned her BS in Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University, Nashville TN where she graduated Cum Laude and went on to Graduate school at The University of Indianapolis, Indianapolis, IN where she earned a Master of Health Science degree in Physical Therapy specializing in Manual Therapy and Orthopedics. Her post graduate education includes clinical specialities in manual techniques: Myofascial Release, Positional Release, Strain-counterstrain, Maitland I & II, McKenzie A-D, Vestibular-BPPV-Balance rehabilitation, NDT for Adult Hemiplegia. . She holds a Cert DN Certification in Dry Needling from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and is Certified in Kinesiology Taping. She also holds an Executive Certificate in Home Modifications from the University of Southern California and owns and operates “Design 4 Independence” providing Home Modification and Accessible Design Assessments which are focused on assisting home owners with adaptability issues to promote aging in place.
She has practical experience in Neurologic and Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Home health, Skilled Nursing, and Outpatient settings. She has been an active clinical instructor for both PT and PTA students, Clinical Manager of STAR Physical Therapy clinic in Gallatin TN and Rehab Director at IHS Skilled Nursing facility in Donelson TN.
Michelle resides in Mt Juliet with her husband. Her daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandsons also reside in Mt Juliet. She loves to travel throughout the United States with her husband Danny, on their Harley Davidson Motorcycle. She loves the Lord, Sunrises and Sunset, and the wind in her face.
Beverly Bell, PTA Owner- Physical Therapy Assistant
Beverly has been a license Physical Therapist Assistant for twenty-six years working in Home Health and Acute Rehab. She is a trained therapist in PWR! Parkinson exercise for medicine technique, certified in Lymphatic Drainage, and Certified Personal Trainer with ASFA.
Beverly specialty is working with individuals with Parkinson and other neurological deficits. She loves to challenge each individual to be the best they can be no matter what circumstances they face. Her philosophy is the same as Zig Ziglar "ATTITUDE DETERMINES ALTITUDE"!
Beverly is married and the mother of five children and ten grandchildren. She enjoys her family reading and cycling. Her faith in God has always sustained her in the worst and best of times.
